His thoughts might assure the “middlescent” pastor that he is not alone. His perspectives might provide insight to churches whose pastor is over 50. His hopeful realism might provide his peer pastors with hope and refreshment.

 

 
Not in My Back Yard

Many churches believe new churches should be planted. Some acknowledge that the most effective way to reach the unbelieving and the unchurched is by planting new churches. They will even support (read that give money for) new church starts, as long as they are not (you guessed it) in their back yard.
